Welcome back to Hawaii, where (midwesterners) wake up at 3AM and wait for the sun to rise.

Local coffee and POG. Aloha, indeed.

Like most mornings in Hawaii, we woke up quite early today. The balcony provided a perfect spot to listen to the birds and watch the sunrise.

This feels like quintessential Hawaii - this rooster walked between tables and eventually took position on the awning above us...and started crowing.
