R.I.P. David Soul.

I loved Starsky and Hutch as a kid, but I wasn’t old enough to think about the actors playing Starsky and Hutch. Or Huggie Bear. Or any role.

I do remember David Soul as Ben Mears in the tv mini-series for Stephen King’s ’Salem’s Lot, though. He was fantastic (as was that production).

The sound of that kid scratching on the window is one of the creepiest sounds I remember from childhood. And I can still hear it like it was yesterday. Don’t open the window!
