The Guardians lost in ten innings last night, but proved my point about them yesterday in the process. They scored five runs in the sixth inning to erase a five run deficit, and held the Astros scoreless from the fifth through the ninth innings. They scored one in the extra frame but couldn't plate the insurance run, which turned out to be the difference. The Astros walked it off on a two run homer.

Tough loss, but boy this team is fun to watch.

I finally ordered a new pair of glasses. I probably waited too long, and now that they're ordered, I can't wait for them to arrive. Added bonus - this took Renee and I to an area of town we don't get to very often, which allowed us to have dinner at a great Chinese restaurant that's too far away to be our regular spot. Tsingtao for me, and green tea for Renee.
