Instead of power generation dedicated to a particular commercial enterprise, the program allows a group of residents to go in on a small power facility together. The energy would go to the grid, and participants would see a rebate on their monthly power bill.

I’m not sure how “a group of residents…go in on a small power facility together”, but it seems like a good thing. Maybe a neighborhood solar installation? Sounds like this has bipartisan support, too, so hopefully it has a future. Ohio’s thirst for electricity is only going to rise and more data centers come online.

Oh this is going to be good. I hope more than a few of the “24 winning public entries” make a nod to Algie, the inflatable pig Pink Floyd flew over Battersea back in the day.
