After reading that article on bioluminescence, I figured I had to have some photos of the boys with lightning bugs (fireflies?). So, I searched the photos app on my phone for "lightning bugs" and it dutifully returned a series of five photos from over a decade ago. Pretty amazing.
This one shows Jake with fascinated by a ligtning bug resting on his hand (hard to see as it's not illuminated).

Renee and I had some quality time with Jake tonight, which was wonderful. He flew earlier in the day, working on some instrument flying. So proud of him!
