What can go wrong when you slash beer prices to boost attendance at an event? Before today, I thought the gradual descent into a riot was the only possible bad outcome. Thanks to Ron DeSantis's experiment with dollar beers, I now know another—crickets.

The four of us went to dinner at Inside the Five in Perrysburg tonight, after Jake's shift there. It's rare we get to eat out together like that, so it was really nice to just sit around the table and talk. I had a Tijuana Bagpipes, which Inside describes as a "Cinnamon and Coffee Scottish Ale." I had no trouble putting it down, but probably won't order it again.

We had some pretty great pizza at the Stoked Pizza Company in Cambridge tonight. Great pizza, and a decent beer selection to boot. I had the Night Shift Whirlpool, which was a little more citrusy than I expected, but was still very good.
